Hong Kong's first renovation matching platform, CoDECO, celebrates its 11th anniversary. CoDECO took a significant step forward with its sister brand "CoCoMall by CoDECO" in mid-2023, to open a 10,000+ square feet "Renovation Experience Center" at CoDECO headquarter in Shau Kei Wan, while the center hosts "Renovation Preparation Classes" monthly and inviting renovation professionals to answer questions on-site and share insights on renovation ideas, quotation analysis, contractors and materials selection. This helps clients to understand the renovation process and allows them to physically feel and purchase renovation materials such as paint, tiles, and appliances with the professional assistance of the consultants. With thousands of appointments made, CoDECO had marked an incredible figure of over 76% of clients who successfully matched with renovation professionals purchased materials at the "Renovation Experience Center".

Milestones of the Decade - Master Club by CoDECO

To celebrate the successful business journey, "Masters Club" was introduced in 2024, aiming to connect renovation professionals, interior designers and material suppliers, in order to build a complete renovation matching ecosystem. Comprising "CoDECO" and "CoCoMall", Master Club introduced the Purple Diamond Membership Program to provide effective promotional and sales channels for suppliers. This includes website advertising, promotion opportunities in "Renovation Preparation Classes" and "Renovation Experience Center", and also our new promotion leaflets "Renovation Dim Sum Paper". Enhancing Contractor Vetting System and Renovation Standards

CoDECO’s "100% Renovation Completion Guarantee" had ensured all matched renovation cases through five major protection systems and renovation standards, including quality assurance of renovation professionals, payment protection, timely completion, project inspection, and project delay compensation system. All affiliated renovation professionals must pass 29 strict vetting criteria, with only 7% of new applicants successfully joining in 2024.


Furthermore, CoDECO provides free renovation consultant quotation and review service. Once the quotation had been accepted by the clients, projects will be carried out and inspected according to the "Hong Kong Renovation Guidelines", jointly formulated by CoDECO, Hong Kong Arbitration Society, and Hong Kong Building Inspection Association, aiming on reducing renovation disputes and improving on-time completion rates. This service allows clients to have a more reliable and satisfactory renovation experience, while standardizing renovation contracts help to protect the rights and benefits of both parties.
